Lighted Makeup Mirror Questions
How do I open the battery slot?
Using your fingernail or a credit card press into the small recess on the right side of the battery cover. This should release the clip underneath allowing you to lever open the battery cover.
What batteries should I use?
4 x AA batteries are required. It is best to use fresh batteries.
Which way should I put the batteries in the slots?
The batteries should be inserted in alternating directions as shown in the diagram inside the battery compartment.
I have put the batteries in but the lights wont come on?
Please use fresh batteries and check that they are inserted in the correct direction as per the diagram inside the battery compartment. Also check that the main power switch on the back of the unit is in the on position. Then press your finger briefly on the touch button on the front of the mirror to turn the lights on.
How do I dim the lights?
To dim the lights first ensure that your unit contains batteries, the main power switch on the rear is in the on position and then hold your finger on the touch button on the front of the mirror until the lights are at the required level. Release and hold again to make the lights brighter.
How do I take the stand off the base?
The stand has two ridged edges on the bottom which clip into the base. You can see these from underneath the base. To remove the stand from the base press on the ridged edge closest to the rear of the base, pressing down and towards the front of the base. This will un-clip the ridge from the base and allow you to tilt the stand out of the base.
How to remove the 10x Magnification spot mirror from the main mirror?
The detachable 10x magnification mirror is attached and detached using the suction cup holders on the reverse. Try to peel the spot mirror rather than simply pulling it straight off.
